Wedding Reception Venue - Leigh Village Hall
Leigh Village Hall was purpose built in 2008 and is an ideal location for a village/country wedding reception. The building is in Leigh Village, West Dorset, on a 2 acre plot which includes a wild flower meadow, on-site parking and open and covered patio areas.
The Hall has the following accommodation:
There is more information about the hall's facilities on our main page here.
The Hall is fully equipped with 18 modern rectangular topped tables, 12 occasional tables and in excess of 150 chairs. The kitchen has cutlery, crockery, glasses and tablecloths. It is centrally heated throughout.
Two marquees are also available which, when erected on the patio, can link that area to the Hall via the covered patio.
Flexible Hire Period
The hire period for a wedding reception runs from 1.00pm on the Friday until 1.00pm on the Sunday, giving sufficient setting up and clearing down time to leave a whole day for the celebrations on the Saturday. The Hall has a full licence and the serving of alcohol and the playing of music may take place until midnight. Hirers and guests then have a further hour before leaving the venue by 1.00am on the Saturday and Sunday.
For residents of the old Wriggle Valley Benefice the Hall hire charge is £420 and for those that live beyond the Benefice boundary the hire charge is £1,210. The charges include all the facilities/equipment mentioned above except for the marquees and a professional cleaner to help clear up and clean the Village Hall on the Sunday morning.
