Poppy Appeal Talk - The RAF Raid on Karlsruhe
Friday 10th November 2017
Leigh Village Hall - Doors open 7.00pm, talk commences 7.30pm

Moviola - Churchill (PG)

Brian Cox, with Miranda Richardson depicting great events and great tensions with great performances in this biopic of the three days leading up to D-Day. Beer and wine is available by the glass. An excellent community social evening starting with a short film, followed by an interval during which glasses are refreshed and choc ices will be on sale for 50p each, then the main feature begins.

Leigh Food Fair and Vintage/Classic Car/Bike Display
Saturday 21st July 2018
Leigh Village Hall - 10.00am to 4.00pm
Cost: £2.00 adults, under 15s free

Taste and buy some of the best food and drink on offer from local producers. The Stallholders will include: Alweston Jam and Chutney Empire, Bay Tree Company, Chocolate Arthouse Company, Dorset Blue Viney, Dorset Fishcakes, Dorset Pie Company,Fussels Fine Foods, James's Cheeses, James's Forager Spirit, Lavender Blue Food Co. Liberty Cakes, Little Groves Nursery, Meat Free Martha, Olives'n'Stuff, Oxfords Bakery, Reads Coffee Roasters, Percy’s Bakery, Primrose's Kitchen, Somerset Cider Brandy Co., Tim Hurren Icecream Tricycle, White Post Gate Honey, Wriggle Valley Beer, Wraxall Wines, Wyld Meadow Farm, and Yarty Cordials.

Barbecued hamburgers and sausages, refreshments, ice cream, beer and cider will be here! Entertainment includes children’s activities.

A variety of interesting Veteran/Classic cars and motorbikes will also be on display. Car owners are not charged to enter the Show, AND get 2 tickets per car to allow them free access in to the Food Fair!!

This is proving to be a very successful annual show, AND will, of course, be in our amazing Village Hall. Please spread the word to your friends and relations – it really is a day NOT to be missed.

Proceeds go to Leigh Village Hall, The Hub, Yeovil, St Andrew’s Church, Leigh and other charities.
